BeachtownGirls Surf Company

The Revolution of Girls Surfing
BeachtownGIRLS was created as a natural extension of girls and women's surfing exploding.

Girls and women's surfing has been around for over 40 years.  But girls and women surfing apparel has only been around for a little over 15 years.

In the 70s, girls and women’s surfing got photo coverage in and out of the water and also got placement in top media magazines, mostly in Surfer and Surfing.  In the 80’s, several women’s magazines started, but began to dwindle since the sport has such a small following.  It has only been in the 90’s that girls and women’s surfing has really TAKEN OFF, literally.

With such movies as “Blue Crush” and MTV’s “Surf Girls” girls surfing has become as popular as its male counterpart.  And it is no concidence that girls surf apparel lines would also begin taking off.  As girls surfing moves forward, more girls want to be apart of the surfing culture, even if it means just wearing the clothes.  This is true, such that every girl in the world feels connected to the sport of surfing just by wearing girls surf apparel.

It is only now, in the mid-2000’s, that the real revolution is taking place in girls and women’s surfing and as a natural concidence, in the girls surf apparel lines.  There are more girls and women surfer now than ever before.  They surf short boards and rip like no tomorrow.  Some surf longboards and surf well.  It’s a beautiful thing.

This revolution will only get more popular since more movies, indies and mainstream, and other television shows will continue to glamourized and commercialized the sport of girls surfing.

Any way you put it, BeachtownGirls Surf.  They rock in and out of the water.  All BeachtownGirls are rad.  All BeachtownGirls are beautiful.

We believe this and every girl and women that wears BTG will know that the company they support believes they are the most beautiful thing on this blue planet.

BeachtownGirls is truly every girls surf company. Make a difference. Get involved.
